Full-Service Portfolio at the Frankfurt CargoHub

Efficient Processes Landside and Airside. Rapid, secure, reliable, and flexible – Fraport AG ensures the right conditions exist at the Frankfurt CargoHub for efficient cargo handling. A key feature of this is high-quality and modern infrastructure that optimizes collaboration within the cargo community. By using a live cargo dashboard, the Cargo Community System facilitates the integration of processes, eases connectivity amongst the parties involved, and allows for data-driven cargo handling. On this page, you’ll also find details of government agencies with a presence at the CargoHub, along with information about airport transportation, access, and dining.

The Cargo Community System connects all of the companies involved at Frankfurt Airport – from the airport operator and airlines, to handling agents, to logistics & trucking companies.  The platform is a key component of the digital infrastructure and can be integrated into existing IT systems through interfaces, or used via a web application. Designed to work in modular form, the Cargo Community System supports customs, security, dangerous goods, and supply chain management processes – with many tasks being automated. Specific use cases include the automation of import and export processes for customs, digital transmission of dangerous goods information, and online reservations of truck ramp slots at the handling agents.

Fraport and Dakosy have formed a joint venture called allivate to develop the system further in a way that consistently meets the needs of the community.  More information.

A joint venture from Fraport and Dakosy, called allivate, is offering a unique, data-driven service from spring 2024 for on-site monitoring and controlling of cargo  processes: the Cargo Dashboard.

The Dashboard provides real-time insights into cargo movements, occupancy rates, and throughput times. This creates process transparency and facilitates data-driven decision making. The system will be subject to continuous development and adapted to the needs of users. More information about digitization and process innovation at the Frankfurt CargoHub can be found here.
